Dolly Partton

I was riding Dolly with some visitors from Mississippi in August 2011 that wanted to learn more about gaited saddle mules. When I trail ride with a group I will break off the trail and ride through the woods in and out of sight of the others (no heard bound mules allowed). Dolly was scooting along that day through the woods brush and ravens off trail paralleling the group on the trail. One visitor latter sent me a e-mail later referring to that moment and said she was so Impressed with Dolly’s ability to move like she does in so many and varying terrains. Gait can happen and does for Dolly in most situations.
